Andrew Swett

Andrew Z. Swett passed away on 2 January 2021 in Frederick, Maryland at age 30. He was born 1990 in Frederick, Maryland where he grew to manhood as the 3rd son of Bob and Cindy Swett.

As a child he was homeschooled and attended Victory Baptist Church of Frederick. He enjoyed playing T-ball, soccer, and being with his friends and brother. He graduated from High School and Faith Bible Institute (3-years of college courses) in 2008; later he attended Hagerstown Community College of Maryland. Andrew worked in a help desk position for his brother’s (Danny) computer and server business. He also worked as a Sam’s Club cell-phone clerk and later as a warehouse material-handler (fork-lift driver) at Tractor Supply Co. Andrew was currently living with his family in Falling Waters, West Virginia. He was full of energy, loved to bake all type of breads, and to work with computers and building servers. His name means “God Remembers His Strength and Sweetness”, which he demonstrated in his life to others around him.

Andrew was preceded in death by his Grandparents Max and Norma Swett, Grandfather Ladd Maxson, Sr., Uncle Pat Swett, and Aunt Brenda Busing. He was survived by his parents Bob and Cindy Swett of Falling Waters, West Virginia; brothers: Danatone “Danny” (Danielle) Swett of Ocala, Florida, Eric (Myoung Hee) Swett of Stuttgart, Germany, Benjamin Swett of Falling Waters, West Virginia; Grandmother: Ruth Maxson of Beatrice, Nebraska; Uncles: Mike (Geralyn) Swett; Norman “Jack” (Elizabeth) Swett; Tim (Sandy) Swett; and Kin (Sara) Sweet, and Ladd (Xi) Maxson; Aunts: Marlene Swett, Gena Swett, and Sherri (George) Clark; six nieces and nephews; and thirteen cousins.

A memorial service is planned at 6pm, Thursday, 14 January 2021 at Victory Baptist Church of Frederick, Maryland with Pastor Jonathan Purks officiating.
