Joseph H. Asselin
January 29, 1958 - March 26, 2023
Joseph (Joe) H. Asselin passed away peacefully in his home in Abingdon Maryland, on
March 26, 2023.
Joe was the son of the late Ronald J. Asselin and Waltraud C. Asselin (Tolle), born in
San Francisco, California. As a military brat, he lived in various cities both domestic
and abroad, eventually enlisting in the U.S. Navy, where he served two years. He then
attended the University of South Florida where he graduated with honors receiving a
Master of Science Degree in Electric Engineering.
Upon graduating, Joe accepted a position in his field as a Civil Service military
contractor at Fort Monmouth New Jersey. He later transferred to Aberdeen Proving
Ground where he remained until he retired at age 63.
Joe is survived by his two sisters, Marcellina Asselin Mixon and Slavica Mathilde
Asselin of Marietta Georgia.
A private cremation was held.

Mr. Asselin enjoyed reading and researching new things.
