Linda Denise Copeland passed away on April 20, 2021. She was born in Queens New York to William Copeland and Ruthie Carlisle on November 18,1965.
Linda attended Monroe Highschool, soon after she attended Nursing School in New York City. She became a Home Health Aide and a full time mom which is a job itself. She loved listening to music and dancing in the kitchen to Body and Soul Cd’s her Favorite color was blue and She loved spending time with her kids as long as no bugs were involved. Linda always had a weird sense of humor she used to make her kids watch scary movies and then leave the room to scare them. Now that the kids are older I’m sure they wonder what life lesson she was trying to teach them at such a young age. Maybe it was “even though the dark is scary still go into it and there will always be light” or “conquer all fears” but I highly doubt that’s what they think she meant maybe the real reason was to show them that they need to behave during the day because night will soon come and she will do it again. long story short her kids are now adults are still afraid of the dark…..
Linda was the wife of Derrick Leslie, mother of 3 daughters and grandmother of 3 grandchildren. She will be greatly missed
